Ensure your have done the 'Health Check'

Before you begin planning anything, you must ensure you have completed the MEST4 'Health Check' which can be found here.

You must also ensure your full proposal and idea has been authorised by Mr Dixon and Mr Rose, before starting production.

Ensure your deconstructions are complete

There must be real world, existing media texts at the heart of your investigation.  These will then be your style models, which should form the foundations of your production research.  Deconstruct at least two.  Deconstruction grids can be found here.

Planning your Sequence

When planning your moving image project, Pre-Production is very important.

Without this stage, your project will lack direction, and many things could go wrong without careful preparation.

It is absolutely essential your entire moving image project, and all the files associated with it, are saved in the same folder, and ONLY that folder.

A recommended folder system you should replicate is shown below.
